Last night I watched this movie and really, really enjoyed it. I’ve always liked movies, good movies that are slow paced and allow you to soak in the story line at your own leisure. It’s a bit different from mainstream “Hollywood” style movies–not that those are bad either.
“Never Let Me Go” is the story of three children with a ‘special’ purpose. I won’t give away the purpose because I’d rather you find out on your own. It’s based on a Kazuo Ishiguro book, a fabulous writer of Japanese descent who grew up in Great Britain. His other movie adaptation was: “The Remains of the Day.” Read Kazuo, awesome stuff!
This movie really made me think about what it means to be human. What you do with the short time you have on this earth, about love, passion, destiny, joy, grief, relationships, and ultimately, acceptance. I guess some might consider the movie depressing, but I actually found it uplifting. Yeah, kinda bizarre of me. But I guess you have to see the movie in order to understand what I mean. Keep in mind, it’s rated R and not for kids.

I’m not sure why but this website is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
